Mikaela Watson is an undergraduate student at UC Davis, double majoring in Art Studio and Technocultural Studies. At IDAV, she handles odd, artistic jobs like poster design and 3D character modeling. In May, 2010, she co-held her own art show with two other art majors, and has also been employed by ArtStart Youth Arts Organization of Santa Rosa, CA, to create murals, mosaics and other large-scale public art commissioned by the city of Santa Rosa. She also worked as a cartoonist for The California Aggie Student Newspaper during the school year '07 - '08. She also is a part-time knitting instructor for The Craft Center at UC Davis. In the spring of '09, Mikaela joined the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. Every Sunday night at ten, Mikaela faithfully parks herself in front of the TV for the new episode of Mad Men. She also enjoys swimming, vintage clothes stores, sushi, comics and her new olive pitter.
